I was classically trained over 5 years at The City and Guilds of London, Chelsea College of Art and Les Beaux Arts in Paris.
I have had solo exhibitions of my charcoals and watercolours at the Addison Ross Gallery and exhibited in various mixed shows including Malcolm Innes in London and Edinburgh (now incorporated with Roundtree Tryon Galleries) and the Osborne Studio Gallery, as well as around Oxfordshire and Warwickshire.
I live on the edge of the Cotswolds and work from my studio at home with my two dogs. I had a break from my career whilst my four children including triplets were growing up, although I kept my eye in with mainly commissioned work.
My style has evolved over the years to my current oil paintings, which are inspired by various artists from the post-impressionist movement to the present day. Whether painting in my studio or outside, I try to capture the colours and shapes of my subjects through light and shadows.
More recently, I have exhibited with the Russell Gallery and McAllister Thomas Fine Art
, in addition to the Fosse Gallery
in Stow-on-the-Wold, where I've been exhibiting for the past 2 years.
